I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)

April 7th. Good ol' 4/7. You know, not many people give this day the attention it deserves. No, I'm not talking about the symbolic birthdate of the internet (1969) or the repeal of prohibition (1933). Although these two events shaped who I am today, neither has had more influence on me than the man who turns 61 today: John William Oates.
Wikipedia defines John Oates as "an American rock, R&B and soul guitarist, musician, songwriter and producer best known as half of the rock and soul duo Hall & Oates." Yeah, that's pretty accurate, Wikipedia. I really don't have much to add to that. Oh wait, yes I do: MUSTACHE!
So to you, Mr. Oates, I say Happy Birthday! I will dedicate a solid half hour to your music today, because "I'm out of my head when you're not around."
